The Canadian African Maternal Newborn Health Association — CAMNHA — is an Ontario non-profit organization created to strengthen Midwifery & Nursing practice in regions where the lives of mothers and their infants continue at risk.
We also aim to positively address Midwifery burn-out and low morale. Our approaches include collaboration and networking with Canadian and Sub-Saharan Midwifery / Nursing leaders to identify and implement best practices and to promote Midwifery/Nursing mental health.

As well, we will also focus on public advocacy to increase concern for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and for the well-being of Midwives and Nurses in these regions and worldwide.
